How many times have you joined a program promoting how to 'melt the pounds off' with a lot drive and determination? You felt the hype. You experienced that hit of dopamine (a motivating feel good hormone) from it sounding hardcore.... the challenge of that appealed. That's normal.
You were excited with the rapid results but then started to notice that you were feeling tired, deprived, resentful and then... rebellious. It was only a matter of time before you turned to the familiar food or beverage to get some reprieve from those feelings.
Most of us have been there. It's discouraging and frustrating. It's a cycle I never want to go back to. That's why I'm here... to help you.
Many of my clients come to me with some shame and blame that they "know better but can't seem to stick to it". They receive love, compassion and truth not judgment.
